Hello Music Lovers,
"Gave You My Heart" was just released on 6/24/13. The process has been a combination of agony and ecstacy, but I'm enjoying the ecstacy right now. Feel like I just won the superbowl, and I'm about to get sprayed with champagne.
"Gave You My Heart" was mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London by Steve Rooke and mixed at Avast Recording by Jay Follette in Seattle. Thanks to the lovely and talented Racquel for her unparalled performacne as my nemesis, Pat Bautz from Three Dog Night playing drums, Martin Motnik on Bass and Ron Dezvouz on keys.
You Are My Rainbow
"I Wrote "You Are My Rainbow" for Someone Special so I had this
Mastered at Abbey Road Studios by Alex Wharton (Radiohead
Chemical Brothers, Bjork)."
"If You're Doing Something Creative, You have to Keep Changing or You're Not
Making Progress. So Inevitably, "You Are My Rainbow" had to be Different than
"Rock & Roll Manifesto". And "Rock & Roll Manifesto" had to be Different than
then the Songs I wrote with The Social Lites."
"Splicing Vocal Loops Together as a Reference, I Auditioned About 15 Talented Singers. Racquel's
Rendition Really Stood Out. So for this Song, She Was Like My Christine from Phantom of the Opera.
Guess that Makes me the Phantom".
In the Future Everyone Will Be Anonymous for 15 Minutes.....
"Mark Clear Autuers "Rock & Roll Manifesto b/w with "Morning Girl on THC Records (Sept. 2009).
The Tracks Feature Social Lite Co-Founder LA Lyons Providing Vocal Support and Don Gunn on Drums".
"Music Like Art is Personal. And Finding Music You Like Today is a Bit Like Being a Pig Searching for Truffles."
"Hell Yeah it's been Brought to My Attention that My "Rock & Roll Manifesto" is Longer than the U.S. Constitution,
and My Principles May Not Be Your Cup of Tea".
